Upgrade to full version of dictionaries to see this definition. How?

I want to look up the translation of Italian words in the iBooks I am reading. I get some of the translations but for most I get a message: Upgrade to full version of dictionaries to see this definition. However I can find no way of doing this. Does anyone know how I can do this on a Mac running Sequoia 15.3.1 (24D70). It all works well in iOS on my iPhone.

Note that the dark red message in the Apple *Dictionary* app says that you need to upgrade the *Dictionaries* app to see the definitions. The Dictionaries app (by Václav Slavík) allows you to download dictionaries that appear as well in Lookup and in the Dictionary app. You read about, download and upgrade the Dictionaries app at https://dictionaries.io/.

I think you have this app and have downloaded the Italiano dictionary it offers.
