Siri giving incorrect indoor temperature

Ecobee thermostat is connected to my home app. In the app, it shows the correct temperature, 69°. However, when I ask my HomePod mini to tell me what the thermostat is set to, it repeatedly says it is set to 45°F.

please don’t tell me this is a Celsius versus Fahrenheit thing. Because it is not. Both of my devices are set to Fahrenheit. And if Siri was telling me the equivalent, it would not be 45°, it would be more like 21 or something.

I completely reset my thermostat and that helped to heat My Home to the correct temperature.

I removed the thermostat from the home app and then after I did a factory reset on the thermostat I added it back to the home app.

Now when I ask the HomePod what temperature it is inside, it gives me an accurate reading. But when I ask Siri, what is the thermostat set to, it just tells me it’s 45°F. I am baffled as to how to fix this.
