Why won't downloaded music files from Audacity 3.7 not play in iTunes?

I have tried saving the Audacity file as wav, mp3 and m4a before adding directly to iTunes Media. The download shows up but no sound when I try playing it. The music files play in Audacity as well as Windows Media Player so I think it may be an iTunes issues. I used to do this all the time but recently got a new computer and am trying to set it up to digitalize the rest of my vinyls.

Copying music from a CD I am trying to copy some music CDs to my computer in the Apple Music app. I've done this many times before, but now I get an error message: "Error occurred while converting the file “song name here". The required file cannot be found." Help! I need to be able to stream this music on my Apple devices.
