iTunes won't import full tracks from a CD

Bought a CD and attempted to import the tracks into iTunes, however the last two tracks have problems (one doesn't import at all and the other only imports around a minute of it)

I re-inserted the CD, re-imported several times, restarted PC, nothing works

I can play the tracks completely fine directly from the CD through both iTunes and VLC.

It sounds like you have a concern with importing selected audio tracks into iTunes. We'll be happy to help out.


You could try uninstalling iTunes and its components, then reinstalling iTunes again. A fresh copy of iTunes may resolve the issue for you: Remove and reinstall iTunes and related software components for Windows 7 and later - Apple Support.
