Have Apple scammed me?
Camera stopped working as expected (no wide angle and only x3 on portrait) - I’ve only had it seen by Apple for screen replacement etc (I have Apple care, that’s what it’s for) I’ve looked after the phone and it’s almost mint condition
opted to send it in for ‘express replacement’ only to be sent new handset PLUS my old handset back in the post and charged over £1200
they say it’s because the phone has had unauthorised repairs/abuse which is absolutely not true (I have AppleCare for repairs!)
they won’t provide any evidence, just “our engineers have said…”
have I been scammed by Apple? What do I do??
