iPhone 14 stuck "verifying update" issues

Tried to restart the phone, but the slide bar was also stuck. Then tried to press all three side buttons at once, but the phone made emergency screeches. Even more, the phone appeared to have gotten stuck on the "emergency calling 911" but I could hear nothing from the other end.
