[FIXED] Keynote error: 'The image couldn't be inserted'

A simple solution to this problem:

deactivate a ton o fonts of your computer and you'll be able to insert images in the presentation again. :)

Keynote has a problem with my font cache and is running slow Is there a reason why Keynote can't seem to load fonts? Every time I go to the font selection dropdown Keynote practically crashes. I do have a lot of additional fonts installed in my system but it's ridiculous how keynote can't seem to handle it but every other application can. What am I missing? Is there a setting that would help keynote load font faces better? I have an Apple M1 Max with 64 gb of memory...this really shouldn't be a problem.

Change Font in Keynote is Super Slow This was asked before and 47 people had the same problem. The reply was useless and nobody marked it 'helpful'. Can somebody address this issue please? I just tried to change font in Keynote and the rainbow wheel slowed down almost to a stop. This wastes huge amounts of my time. I'm getting so close to going back to PowerPoint.
