the transitions are not working when my students use iMovie Storyboard

I have a set of 30 iPads. Some transitions work using (any template) in storyboards and others just stay on the first photo. I tried restarting the iPads. The students are getting very frustrated and I do not know how to solve this problem.

iMovie on iPad won't transition to a different photo I am using iMovie version 3.0.5 on my iPad with iOS 18.2. I am trying to make a movie in iMovie. When I add multiple pictures, it will only show the first photo. It will not transition into the new picture in edit mode or just playing it from the project list. When I manually move the play line, it will transition, but when I hit the play button, it will not. I have added different types of transitions, deleted transitions, and it still will only show the first picture. I've never experienced this issue before. Is there something that needs to be updated in the app?
