Hello! We just got our new Macstudio-M2 Max and the Sabrent Thunderbolt 3 NVMe SSD Docking Station.
It's all set and everything but the dock's display port. Display is not showing up even with a brand new cable (DP-HDMI). But when I try a USB-HDMI hub/adapter, it does show up. I am planning to use it as a second monitor.
Any ideas? Thank you very much!

Asus VC239H is a 23" display with 1920x1080 pixel resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. It has three video inputs: HDMI v1.4, DVI, and VGA.

If the DisplayPort output on your Sabrent dock does not have the "dual-mode" feature, and the adapter that you were using with it is a "passive" adapter that relies on the "dual-mode" feature, that might explain why you could not get a signal. If that was the cause, getting an "active" adapter (one that did not depend on the source device doing part of the adapting work for it) might let you make a connection through the Sabrent dock.
Sorry, It is the Asus VC239. It is working fine, I was using it with an HPZ Workstation, via Dport-HDMI, until I shifted to a Mac just this week. Currently working/running it through a USB-HDMI dongle. It is the Sabrent dock's Dport that I am trying to figure out. Thank you.

What does Sabrent mean by "MAC OS (with an Intel CPU for full functionality)." ?!?
I doubt if anyone is going to try to use this dock to expand a Mac with a 68K CPU or PowerPC CPU – all of those long predate Thunderbolt. So is Sabrent saying that some features of the dock will not work with Apple-Silicon-based Macs?!?
DisplayPort uses 3 Volts signal levels. without "Dual Mode" (where the Originating device boosts its signal levels to HDMI's 5 Volts levels) the 3 volt signals are not detected at the display.
An ACTIVE adapter or adapter/cable has signal re-Drivers, and can use power from the power lead in the interface to re-generate the signals at the 5 Volts level.
can't you just hook it up with a DisplayPort cable?
