Books app stopped working after the iPadOS 18.3 update

I’ve reloaded the app to no avail and turned the iPad on and off.

Unable to open book on Apple Books app in my iPad. For the last month, I have intermittently not been able to open books in my library. Now I can’t at all. Most of the books no longer display their covers, now simply a solid cover with the book title. I have updated to IOS 18.3.1. I have heard that the latest few updates are the cause of the problem. iPad Kindle app Overnight my kindle app has stopped working. I have turned device off and back on. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I still can’t open any books. Does anyone else have this problem?
