Unable to open book on Apple Books app in my iPad.

For the last month, I have intermittently not been able to open books in my library. Now I can’t at all. Most of the books no longer display their covers, now simply a solid cover with the book title. I have updated to IOS 18.3.1. I have heard that the latest few updates are the cause of the problem.

The Apple Support app has a suggestion to delete & re-install the app . If you would like to keep your documents & data , you can do it this way :

settings > general > iPad storage > Books ~ choose offload .

Turn your iPad off for a minute then turn it back on . Go back to iPad storage > Books and re-install .

ahaha even them do not know what to do… I have been stopping using the books app long time ago, having a lot of of my personal library. I usually was syncing from my Mac and anytime many books missed in my iPad or iPhone.. Now the fact is that we shouldn’t update, but sometimes we are forcing to do and there’s no way because this will be the end of time because all will get in confusion. good luck
