Shut down slider doesn’t work after 18.3 update

After updating XS Max iPhone to iOS 18.3, the shut down slider will not work. The slider only moves about an eighth of an inch. Other than that touchscreen functions normal. The only way to reboot The phone is using the quick press volume up, volume down and then hold side button until Apple logo appears. Still does not work after several reboots.

Hello, thank you for the reply. Battery health is 84%. I don't use the phone that much so it still usually around 50% at the end of the day. All other touchscreen functions work fine, selecting text etc. I can drag stuff around the screen just fine. Other than not being able to slide the shut down slider across the screen, no other issues. The phone is in immaculate condition.
