Apple is not a bank. Only the bank that issued your credit card or debit card can stop a transaction.


That’s a scam. Banks don’t work that way. A bank stops the transaction and you have to call the number if you want the charge to go through. Do you see the difference?


Scammers want you to call them to stop the transaction. You call and they ask for all your information to stop the transaction. You give them the information and now they have what they need to actually commit fraud.


Never give out financial information over the phone, via text or email. Never.
