Apple Intelligence/Image Creation shows "In Progress…” MBPro 2022 M2 chip macOS Sequoia 15.3

Upgraded the OS on my MBPro last night. This morning I’ve run the Image Playground app and a pop-up says:

“Setting Up Image Creation”

“You’ll be notified when Genmoji and Image Playground are available. Connect to the internet and power while models are downloading."

I’ve checked the System Settings for Apple Intelligence and Siri, Apple Intelligence is selected OK and Image Creation says In Progress…, then there’s a repeat of the “You’ll be notified…” line.

Any idea how long this ‘models are downloading” takes? Or is there some other problem?

My download speed test is showing 386 Mbps so the internet/Wi-Fi speed isn’t an issue.

BTW I’m in the UK.

UPDATE - RESOLVED

Switched Apple Intelligence off/on and a 0% complete appeared and disappeared after the “You’ll be notified line…” reverting to the status quo of “In Progress”.

Then rebooted and reopened the Image Playground app and the pop-up window didn’t appear but the same message “… You’ll be notified…” covered the app window. No option other than to close the app was visible. I left it and within a couple of minutes the functionality of the app became available.
