Why did my iPhone's notification sound change without my consent?

Hello,

Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics. Check the Ringer and Alerts slider.  Try changing the sound pattern for the type of alert.

Your issue is with Instagram, NOT Apple or iPhone. Apple doesn't own Instagram and Instagram can use whatever notification tone they want. Apple has no control over what Instagram uses. If you don't like the Instagram sound, complain to them.

apple should let us choose what notification sound we want for each app, just like android…
