Ejecting SD card on MacBook Air
I am obviously using a converter, since Apple co. Is dumb enough to not have the proper input for an SD card.. but anyway, it kept not ejecting and only giving me the option to force eject the SD card.
I did some digging and saw that if you have anything running, even if it’s “Finder”, that you may have issues with ejecting. I had everything else closed (I quit out of everything else, but Finder was still running and in turn “using” the SD card reader.)
I went to the spot where you can re-launch Finder (it doesn’t say force quit, only re-launch, I tried re-launching it three times and the SD card still would not eject properly.
I also am very confused why Finder has to be running all the time and why it doesn’t give you the option of force quitting Finder. I think this seems to be an overlook on Apple’s part into why this is such an issue.
Please help me with my new computer
