'Sorry, we have no imagery here' error on embedded maps in Safari running macOS Catalina 10.15.7

I am repeating this question from another user which did not receive any helpful response either from Apple or members of the community. I am using Safari 15.6.1 within Catalina 10.15.7 and am experiencing this issue when requesting map functions in websites such as booking.com and road traffic information. Also find other websites not fully loading such as British Airways with login details being reapeatedly demanded. These all worked fine before. I don't think there are any significant Apple software updates available for my setup. I have tried some of the cache and history deleting suggestions found on various forums with no success. I have however found this problem does not occur on my much newer IPad mini or IPhone. So on the IMac switching to Google Chrome solves the issue and I guess that Chrome is constantly updated to be cope with newer website software whereas my now "old" Safari is not.

macOS 10.15.7 "Catalina" is quite outdated by now. Continued degradation of support for its commensurately outdated version of Safari is to be expected for an operating system that has not been updated for about five years now.

I don't think there are any significant Apple software updates available for my setup.

Confirm the inability to update its macOS version to something later:

If Catalina is in fact the latest operating system for your specific model iMac, then you can try using Firefox, or Brave.
