Podcasts - cannot unplay an episode without autoplaying the next

Someone suggested the following workaround, but where is the “Clear Played” option? I don’t see it in Library>Shows>Edit Shows.

Clear Played History: In the Podcasts app, go to Library > Shows > Edit, then select Clear Played on any affected shows. This can help refresh the play status on episodes.

Continuous Playback of podcasts When one podcast finishes another starts, sometimes its a different program. I have turned off 'Continuous Playback'. It seems to be a new feature, maybe with the last update. Can I disable/turn it off?
