Search option not working on Android version of Apple Music

Around 3 months now that search hasn't worked on the Android version of Apple Music. Crashes as soon as I hit the search button. There seems to be no way to contact Apple about this that makes a meaningful difference and a review on the Google PlayStore is being ignored by the devs. I've tried deleting all files and reinstalling, to no avail. I'm running the latest version of Android and Apple Music with a paid for subscription. I'm minded to just switch to Spotify...

Anyone have any suggestions? Is Apple listening?
