i don't have a phone plan anymore, but my previous phone number is still linked to my apple id. this is a massive security issue on my end, and i would like the option to completely remove all phone numbers from my account.

i would really appreciate someone from apple review and incorporate something to fix this security issue. i purchased your device for personal use. i shouldn't have to associate my device with a phone number to open or maintain an apple account which i need to use services like the app store.
i really enjoy the apple ecosystem, but compromising our security is a dealbreaker for me.
