iPhone not ringing 80% of the time

My iPhone 14+ has recently started not ringing when I receive most incoming calls. I have been resting at home after a procedure literally all day long and my phone is on the table next to the couch. I did receive 1 call from a robo caller and 1 with an automated message saying trash pick up is going to be late. But it didn’t ring on three calls in a row from my service provider who had to call me back each time I was following instructions on changing different settings to figure out what happened since I changed nothing and I have not done any updates recently, and I also missed calls from a friend, a family member, and two from the surgery center, all trying to follow up on how I was recovering. My husband and I called my phone from his and it rang the first time, but not the second or third times…. The missed call would just show up as a missed call.

on my calls to my service provider, they had me turn my ringer off and back on, and various other settings, the same way, because they were all correct, and do not disturb was obviously not on. I scrolled through here to find a solution or a possible cause that I could address and did not find anything that I did not try already..

Could this be related to any of the service provisrr system breaches and if so, what is the solution since my cell service provider is claiming it must be something to do with my phone or iPhone software since it’s not.their issue. Or does someone have a solution by now? Any help would be appreciated!
