Would also like to know if there is a separate Apple community app for us to have instead of ticket desk style assistance?

I leave the site map open in a separate browser tab so I can quickly jump back to it. Just like leaving a post-it note on the index page of a bound reference book.

This is a community of end users, not Apple, in spite of "Official Support" in the forum title. Apple has a support app for its mobile devises that gets Apple employees involved, and may work better for ticketed items:

It does not have the app for macOS.
