Not all photos syncing to ipad via itunes on PC

I sync all photos on my PC back to my iPad via iTunes cable.

Recently, it is not syncing about 1,000 photos. If i put some new photos on my PC and sync it, it will sync those new photos and them stop after them at say 39 of 1,101 synced. It then stops trying to sync about 10 minutes later.

Weirdly the same PC syncs all photos to my iPhone via the same method without issue.

All software is up to date on all 3 devices.

Is there a log file or similar on my PC or iPad i can access that shows what photo it is getting stuck on?
