Ring/silent switch not working after 18.2.1 on iPhone 14 pro

Just updated my iPhone 14 Pro to 18.2.1 last night and my ring/silent switch no longer does anything. I can enable mute/unmute in assistive touch but I can't get the switch to turn my ringer on and off.

Anyone else having this problem or know a fix?

The Ring/Silent switch on my iPhone seems to be faulty as it does not close to the right My iPhone7 does not ring and it seems the problem emanates from the Ring/Silent switch. any thoughts?

mute switch effect When mute switch is on, ringer goes silent but volume slide in control centre stays the same..... does this mean that my phone wont be truly silent?

That sounds like a hardware problem
