iphone 14 pro max keeps switching to silent mode when set to ring mode

all ways to silence the iPhone:

—Do Not Disturb in the Control Center ....

—Airplane mode...

—Silent mode switch on the side of the iPhone

The silent switch on my 14 Pro Max turns itself on several times every day. I miss important calls. I miss all calls when it turns itself on. When I went to Verizon, three out of four people in CT the store are having the same problem!
