When I open one of my Kindles books on my iPad, every page is black

I have the Inclusive Bible on Kindle. I consult it often. But a few weeks ago all the pages went black. I can still see the cover, but nothing inside. This happens only with this one book. The other Kindle books I have are fine. I have searched Amazon and Kindle and can't find any answer or fix for this. My iPad Air is using iOS 18.2. Please don't tell me to find the slide switch for light control because all the settings and menu items are also blacked out.
