Hello people!
I am digitizing old VHS tapes with Quicktime Player. Once the videos are burned, the DVD player can play some of them but others do not work. They all have the same resolution.
I tried to convert them to MP4 but the problem persists. If I put the videos on a USB key in the DVD player, nothing works. It says the files are damaged.

are we talking about an optical drive connected to (or built into) the Mac? or is it a stand alone DVD player?
OK. so in most cases, you need additional software to burn the videos to a DVD that will play in a stand alone DVD player. I personally use a free app called Burn. it gives me everything that I need from it. if you need more functionality, you might want to try the paid app Roxio Toast 20.
I've downloaded Burn and it still doesn't works. My dvd player still can't read my burned dvds but the good thing is that the software convert my .mov videos to mpgs, which make it possible to read if a put the videos on my USB key.
Better than nothing! ;)
