I got a brand new phone. I sent out a bunch of text messages to family and friends over New Year’s. And now my text message responses are primarily going to my iPad and not to my phone. The responses that do come to my phone come over in green, but the ones on my iPad are coming over in blue like they should. How do I fix this?

Green messages are SMS text messages with your iPad cannot directly receive.
You can have the iPhone forward them to the iPad by going into Settings ➜ Apps ➜ Messages ➜ Text Message Forwarding on your iPhone and making sure your iPad is turned on there.

Check your iMessage activation on the iPhone. Go to Settings>Apps>Messages. From there, check to see that iMessage is turned on. Then look at Send & Receive and see what addresses you have set there for Receive, and what you have set for Start New Conversations from and make sure it is your phone number. Then check Text Message Forwarding and that is what allows messages on both the iPhone and the iPad and make sure that your iPad is listed there, so long as the iPhone is listed under the Start New Conversations.
