Battery Health Decreased So Fast After Change

Hi everyone,

I recently had my iPhone's battery replaced at an Apple-certified service center 9 months ago. When I first got the replacement, the battery health was, of course, at 100%. However, I've now noticed that it has already dropped to 87% in this short amount of time (noticed this about 2 months ago).

What’s confusing is that with the original battery, it took around 2 years for the health to decrease to this level. I’ve been mindful of my charging habits (e.g., avoiding overcharging, not letting the battery drain completely), so I’m puzzled as to why the new battery is degrading so quickly.

Has anyone else experienced something similar with a replacement battery? Could this be a sign of a faulty battery, or is this kind of degradation expected for replacements?

I’d appreciate any insights or advice on whether I should reach out to Apple Support or return to the service center for a check-up.

Thanks in advance!

iPhone 11, iOS 18
