Short battery life on second-hand iPad mini 6

Hi I just got a second hand ipad mini 6 to replace my mini 5. I am hardly using it and yet the battery is draining in a couple of days. Is this normal as my mini 5 lasted at least a week?

Not sure why its inserted the screen shot horizontally!!! I charged up on Tue 12:00 and its now Wed 15:00 so 27 hours and 27% battery. screen time 26m

Usage

Mail 40% 4m screen 26m background

Norton 24% 1m screen 4m background

So usage is absolutely tiny. Is this ipad just knackered and I've been sold a pup but looks brand new???

Really disappointed so any advice appreciated

Start by removing Norton 360. This App offers no protection benefit whatsoever to iOS/iPadOS devices - and is a potential battery hog.

From whom did you buy?

Has the iPad given you any advisories about having non-Apple parts? Unless you buy an Apple-direct refrubished iPad, the battery was likely replaced with a third-party battery. The track record for after-market batteries for any Apple device falls somewhere between dismal and abysmal.

Yes, Norton must go. iPads need no help from fear-marketed apps.
