What should I do if my Password app won't open on iPad?

I cannot open the app to access my passwords any suggestions please

Same problem here. Blank screen after opening the passwords app. Workaround via Icloud as mentioned above does not work.

Which passwords app would that be?


The Apple Passwords app released with iOS 18 and iPadOS 18, or some third-party password app?


If it is third-party, remove the app, restart, re-load the app and try again.


If that fails, contact the third-party app’s support organization.


Contact a third-party vendor - Apple Support


If this is the usual obscure third-party app that has now disappeared from the app store and that for whatever reason, you’ll either need an older device that still has access to the now-discontinued app, or hope that the app had weak security and can be reverse-engineered.


If this is the Apple Passwords app, do you have any add-on VPN apps, add-on security apps, or similar? If so, remove those, restart, and try again.
