brand new iphone 16, it doesn't stop charging when it is at 80% even though I selected the option in order to stop the charge when the battery is at 80%, is there any problem or is there anything i can do?

Does it happen every time you charge your iPhone? How new is it? It may be trying to determine what 100% charge is. How can it stop at 80% if it doesn’t know what 100% is?

The iPhone has to do this so it can calibrate to 100% battery capacity. It’s normal.
about 2 week, it has fully charged sometimes but I think you're right, I'll let it charge to 100%, thanks.
