ios 18.2.1 Not Allowing Charging While Plugged in (13 ProMax)

My phone would charge while plugged in without issue prior to updating phone to 18.2.1 (on 01/11/25). Current Version is shown to be iOs 18.2.1 (22C161)

I have tried multiple charging cables, power blocks, and charging ports.

After charging overnight, it will not go over 16%, and once I go to open any app or web browser it instantly goes to 10% or less.

The Last Charge indicates it was charged 100% at 2:32a today (01/12/25), my Battery Health and Charging is now at 86%.

I'm eligible for an upgrade, and now thinking of switching over to an Android after only having iphones since 2007 if a simple update prevents use of the device.

My phone provider (Verizon) has no resolution other than to upgrade- something I'd rather not do at the moment.

Is there a way to delete or backdate the phone to pre-update?!
