FaceTime Camera Not Functioning on Mac

Hello! I have a 2021 MacBook Pro on macOS Monterey 12.6.3. When I make a call using FaceTime, the camera freezes and then eventually pauses after only a few seconds on the call.

It has been happening for the past month, I have restarted FaceTime and restarted the entire computer multiple times and the problem persists. I have tried on a variety of wifi networks with high-speed connection and it still happens. I have plenty of storage on my computer. It does not happen when I use other video calling apps--Photobooth works just fine, as does Zoom/Whatsapp/etc, so it must be a problem with the FaceTime app.

Any suggestions or troubleshooting help is appreciated, thanks!
