Adding Songs to a Playlist in Apple Music - dragging no longer works. (songs in the Playlist vanish)

I've used Music (formerly iTunes) for decades, you used to be able to drag songs into a Playlist, but if you do that now, ALL the songs that were already in the Playlist VANISH and are REPLACED by the new songs you are merely ADDING to the Playlist. I have figured out you have to use the Menu - Add to Playlist, but that is tedious and takes longer. Why can you no longer just drag songs over?

Anyone else experiencing this? I can make a video demo if that will help.
