When I close Pages it ask to save the document. What I usually do is copy my title and paste it for the title in order for it to be saved. Recently after the last update. I follow the same procedure but when I paste nothing appears. I have to type it in my self. In order for it to work. I have to restart my MacBook Pro m3 and try and it works. If I open a new document and attempt it again. It does not work.
Each time I close a document, or click the dialog to save it is titled untitled. I already gave it a title upon creating the document. I tried your way and it asked for it to be titled. So what I have done for a very long time is cut and paste and I'm done with it. It wasn't difficult. If I chose do it that way and it works it works. Now it doesn't work either way. I tried your way and I have to manually type it in. I never had to do so. Thank you Viking for your help.
Why not just click the Save button on that dialog and be done with it? You are making this too complicated.
