iBooks formatting issue with saved highlights and notes

Well, I have this problem with two of the books that I used to read a long time ago. One of them I finished, but the other not. This other I started reading in 2021, and stopped in 2023. Later, between this days, I wanted to continue reading it, but it didn’t let me and said something like “It is formatted incorrectly, or is not a format that Apple Books can open.”

Im kinda sad because I have so many highlights and notes that I don’t want to loose and is a long term book that I have story with it. Please someone help me 😭
