How do I create a ‘gift playlist’ of iTunes singles from my purchases, much like the mixed tapes of of the 90s? Thanks for your time!

Gifting single songs from iTunes Has anyone found a way to gift singles from iTunes lately? I tried the suggestions given in this thread earlier today but nothing worked. One young lady stated that if you clicked on the song and then looked at at the top of the screen an option would appear which would allow you to click to gift the song. Well, I clicked on the song but everything at the top of the screen remained the same, no other options appeared. I feel as though iTunes is basically holding us hostage, either buy the entire album or go pound sand. Guess what iTunes, sand it is for me because I refuse to fork over the money when all I want to do is send someone ONE SINGLE SONG from that album. Guess I’ll just head over to Amazon music and see if I have any better luck. I will come back and update here with my results.

Why does it not have this same general tab on my itunes? I just want to buy an album off of itunes. I really don't want a subscription. My friend got me an apple gift card and I've tried so much to try to get this album. And I even tried what this support page offered, but there is not a syncing option on mine. And If it did sync would I have to pay apple for a monthly subscription in order to listen to this music that my friend bought me? I'm so confused, and upset if itunes is doing this now.

I assume you know how to create a playlist. If not see here: How to create a playlist in the Apple Music app - Apple Support

Gifting it is another issue. In the early days of iTunes, there was the ability to gift a whole playlist with one click. That capability was removed years ago. (The instructions are still online, but they no longer work.)

If you really like the 90s vibe, you can burn the tracks to a CD. That still works.
