Powerbeats Pro Not Charging

I've found multiple posts on this subject but no solutions that have worked. One of my powerbeats pro buds isn't charging. I've cleaned the contacts on the bud as well as the case. As others have noted, because this was an intermittent issue at first, I used extra care to make sure it was seated properly. I've tried resetting the case and get the same result.

Does anyone out there including Apple have any other suggestions?
