My phone updated and I lost all BT and WiFi connection options, I then installed 18.2 and the problem persists- any new info/ help in the community would be greatly appreciated.

WiFi is greyed out in the settings menu.
Bluetooth shows the spinner like it’s looking. Occasionally, it will appears to highlight as if someone has pressed it, although it doesn’t connect nor show a list of devices.
When I swipe down, I can highlight both indicators however, they turn off as there seems to be no capability for either feature.

So far, everything that you are telling us indicates that there is very likely a hardware problem with the chip that controls Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
As a last resort you could try a Forced Restart on the phone if you have not already tried this a few times. Follow the instructions very carefully, as this is a bit tricky. (Hint.....ignore the "slider" when it appears and keep holding the Side button in until the Apple logo appears. This might take another 30 seconds.)

There are only 2 possible results when you perform a Forced Restart:
1) The phone returns to normal operation
If Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are still acting up at this point.......
2) There is a hardware problem with the phone that will need attention at the Apple Store (make an appointment) or take the phone to an authorized Apple Service shop.

So, does this mean that both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are "grayed out" when you tap Settings > Wi-Fi and Settings > Bluetooth?
Reset device seem to help.
