Apple Device Manager missing on Windows 10 after installing Apple Device app

I installed the Apple Device app, but then the Apple Device Manager was removed, and the Apple Device app and iTunes don't detect my iPhone. How can I have the Apple Device Manager again?

If you install Apple Devices, or either of Apple Music or Apple TV then iTunes will no longer detect devices.

Once those are removed you may need to repair or reinstall iTunes. I suggest the traditional installer, the Microsoft Store version doesn't use AMDS. See also iOS device not showing in iTunes for Windows - Apple Community. In some cases it may help to revert to a previous build of iTunes.
