iPhone 16 pro max sending the unedited version of photos

When I upload edited photos on teams, email, texts, etc it’s uploading /sending the original unedited version. How do I stop this?!

Not shooting in raw. I take a photo in the default camera and edit in the default software. Then when I’m viewing the thumbnails in the default photo album they do not show the adjustments. And when I text in the default messaging software it sends the unedited photo. But if you tap to open the photo full screen in the message it shows the edits. When I attached the photos in Microsoft teams it attached unedited photos. When you open them in teams they remain the unedited version (unlike in messaging when you open them)

when I attach them in an email (any platform) they attach as the unedited version. I’ve checked all the settings in the camera and photo app and I see nothing that I can turn off or on that would prevent this from happening. Ugh. I hate this!

I'm having the exact same issue. It will always reverts back to the original image when I upload or post to Instagram, Facebook, etc. I've done everything and for images taking a screenshot of the edited photo helps, but I have to post videos and that solution doesn't work for those and they end up really dark.

I've restarted my phone, force quit the apps, deleted and reinstalled, updated to the latest iOS, tried raw and not raw. All edits are done in the Photos app but don't seem to translate to other apps.

Seems more like a bug to me than anything... I wish it could be fixed.
