It won’t do any good to talk about this because I’ve just read through hundreds of other user complaints. I just started using FaceID and all day long my phone asks me to enter a passcode.
I like that my Mac asks for my fingerprint to unlock the screen, open apps and autofill passwords, and it works every time. Imagine that.

Probably you are using Multiple IDs for multiple servcies.
Use the same Apple ID every time you sign-in to use all Apple services like the App Store, iCloud, iMessage and FaceTime.

I don’t know what multiple Apple IDs would have to do with this issue, but I’ve only ever had one Apple ID with one password for everything
