iPhone XR storage issue during iOS 18 upgrade

I have an iPhone XR and when I was trying to upgrade to iOS 18, it was saying my storage was full. I have memories everywhere and I have less apps. I cannot delete it but, nothing worked.

Storage is going UP when apps are deleted So far I haven’t found an answer to this question, just the same “tips” over and over. My sons iPhone 6 can’t be updated because there isn’t enough storage. I started clearing caches and history and deleting apps and it WENT UP. The system storage grew half a gig from deleting apps. Can anything be done without wiping the phone??

Iphone storage isn't correct on ios 18 I know this was a issue in ios 17.5 but it wasn't for me at the time. When I got to ios 18.2.1 I noticed the iphone storage is messed up. It keeps increasing for no reason. Sometimes the apps in iphone storage decrease on their own. Its gotten bad in ios 18.3. Is anyone else having this issue?

Iphone 10XR need help how to add more storage space How do I add more storage space to my iphone 10XR ? I already deleted some apps,also paid for icloud but doesnt seem to help. when I tried updating IOS it says I do not have enough data to support update.
