No option under Sounds and Haptics to turn off the Sent Message Swoosh

I’m using an iPhone 13, iOS 18.2

I want to turn off the sent message sound. Before I was able to make changes but that option isn’t showing under Sounds & Haptics now.

My menu only has: Ringtone, Text Tone, New Voicemail, Calendar Alerts, Reminder Alerts and Default Alerts.

Please advise on how to fix this.

There are lots of instructions online showing a menu item under Sounds and Haptics to turn this off, but I see only a very limited list of choices in that menu on my device. How can I disable the swoosh sound while sending a text on iPhone 16? Is it even possible on an iPhone 16 to keep the notification alert when sending a text but get rid of the annoying swoosh sound when you are sending a text? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Can't get apps to change notification sound When I go to settings, notifications, then scroll down to an app, then select the app and scroll down to "sound", I only have an option to turn the sound on or off. I try pressing on that area, but I can't get it to allow me to select a different sound. Currently a new app is using a very high pitched sound, that I have only ever heard for an amber alert. When I go to settings, sounds & haptics, none of the items like 'text tone' etc have that high pitched sound selected. How can I get my phone to let me change app notification sounds? I have an iPhone 14, ios v 18.1.1

Probably you meant Sent Mail. There never was an option for a swoosh sound for sent Messages as far as I can recall.

The Text Tone setting is for the sound you hear when a message is received, not sent.
