Siri never answers my question properly and stops listening

I haves brand new iPhone 16 pro max with "ai". I asked Siri whether or not Apple takes old devices for recycling. Simple question. It understood me because I saw that it wrote it correctly. It gave me an answer about how I can find my devices on "find my". I then asked Siri to please listen to me carefully, I want to know if Apple takes old devices for recycling... at this point it stopped listening to me! I went in google. Asked the same question and got a real answer. Siri regularly misses the point and it's so frustrating because sometimes I can't use my hands. What the @@@@ am I doing wrong?
