Using Home Sharing across my devices.

I believe I have everything properly configured.

If I have my, say, iPad right next to the Mac running Movies, I can access my shared library.

Move downstairs, and the title show, but I get an error message “There’s a problem loading this content”.

Isn’t a connectivity thing; everything else runs full speed ahead down here. It’s just Home Sharing.

Anyone have a clue for me?

Running the latest versions of all OSes.

Thanks.

Are all devices connected to the same WiFi network/SSID?

Perhaps you have multiple network Access Points, WiFi extenders or a mesh-network providing WiFi in your home? If so, your network configuration may be inhibiting some network protocols (mDNS, AirPlay etc.) between your various network components.
