"Why should i pay for the display the display went green after i update the device its not my fault then why should i pay. so many other phone companies are giving free display warranty if any thing happens to the display after updating them if your warranty is expired it’s not a physical damage it’s apple fault"

Why to Pay?:

AppleCare is what you should have purchased here. Why? Because that is just the way Apple has this. It is something you would have agreed to in the Terms of Service upon purchase. So, now it is on YOU. So, take this as a learning experience, considering to purchase AppleCare with this. Note that AppleCare is not an option in all countries/regions: Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support

If the warranty has expired you have to pay for it unless it is one of the rare cases where there is a service bulletin. The other exception is if you have AppleCare (which is a modified warranty in extended form).

"Green screen on iPhone 15 Pro Max after warranty update: If i get a green screen on my 15 pro max after warranty from apple update do they repair for free of cost"

Replacement of Device After Warranty Expires:

That'd be Apple's call. If so, it be deemed a "Faulty Device". These are just user-to-user forums. I had my Mac's screen die 11 times, and Apple replaced it within the first year of ownership. It was deemed a fault device, and was granted a free upgrade worth 2.5K$. However, I had to pay for the price of the AppleCare.

Take a Screenshot:

So, what happens when you take a screenshot? If you get the green screen, then it is a software error, and is nothing of a hardware error. Go here: Take a Screenshot on iPhone - Apple Support

You were recommended to buy AppleCare, but AppleCare would have just meant you would pay a lower price for the repair. It would not have been free. In addition you should consider the price of AppleCare as you should any extended warranty. The only long-term winners with extended warranties are the companies who sell them. We bought our last iPhone with the money we had saved by not buying AppleCare on our previous phones. Extended warranties are good if you are accident prone (and they include that coverage which not all do), or if your are in a financial position where you can afford the smaller cost of a warranty but cannot afford a large bill is a device does end up needing a repair. The chance of getting a "lemon" is very small. It's all statistics and you can bet that is factored in by the corporations selling extended warranties. I kind of laugh when I go to a store and buy a $20 toaster and they ask if I want a $5 extended warranty for that.
