Can't connect print from my iPhone using a Epson WF2930 without Epson App

I cant connect print from any my apple devices using a Epson WF2930, I can print using my laptop, I can print using my android device, It also allows me to print if I'm using the Epson App downloaded to my Iphone, but if I wat to print a email or document, there is a error and and it just wont print or do anything at all even though it will detect the printer. can anyone advise plz
