HomePod and AnyList shortcut issue resolved

I am restarting an older thread that is closed because I encountered a similar problem. With the help of John at AnyList and this thread, home pod and anylist - Apple Community, I was able to solve. The solution was just a bit different than described so I wanted to post.

AnyList shortcuts have always worked great from my iPhone, but on the HomePod they would always get stuck. I would ask, "Hey Siri, add to King Soopers," (my grocery store). Siri would then respond, "Ok Greg, what would you like to add?" Regardless of what I said, she would continue this response until I stopped talking. She would then say, "I wasn't able to play shortcut from your iPhone."

I had tried several resets and changing settings such as iCloud share and Personal Requests without avail. John pointed me to the above thread. I was able to mod the shortcut as per the screenshot and know it seems to work on all devices. I hope this can help someone else.
